Interface New Products Release Summer 2026

Interface is announcing our latest product additions in the Summer 2026 release, including new torque transducers and 5-axis load cells for advanced measurement applications that require both force and torque measurements from a compact single sensor.

We are also introducing four new Complete Systems for a mini beam load cell, a mini torque transducer, a load washer load cell, and a reaction torque transducer. The sensors are available in a wide range of measuring capacities, and each device is interchangeable with similar sensors and instruments.

NEW! T29 SLIP RING HEX DRIVE ROTARY TORQUE TRANSDUCER

The  T29 Slip Ring Hex Drive Rotary Torque Transducer is a compact, high-accuracy torque sensor designed specifically for screw driving systems and dynamic rotary torque measurement applications. Featuring a slip-ring design with a drive hexagon and an output hexagon socket with a quick-action chuck, the T29 enables simple integration, fast tool changes, and reliable continuous-rotation measurement in demanding industrial environments. Its very short axial length and high torsional stiffness provide precise torque transfer while minimizing installation space requirements.

NEW! 5AR70 5-AXIS FORCE/TORQUE LOAD CELL

The 5AR70 5-Axis Force/Torque Load Cell is a multi-axis sensor ideal for inspection tasks in quality assurance and material testing due to their compact, low-profile design, with a thickness of just 12 mm. This precision force sensor features four independently wired strain-gage measuring springs. The strain-gage signals enable calculation of the axial force (Fz) and bending moments (Mx and My) about the x- and y-axes. Additionally, the sensor’s design allows for the determination of horizontal forces (Fx and Fy) and bending moments based on the distance of the force transmission from the sensor surface. A simple calibration matrix ensures easy processing of sensor signals, allowing accurate conversion into forces and moments.

Moreover, the design allows measurement of horizontal forces (Fx and Fy) and bending moments, accounting for the distance of force transmission from the sensor surface. T29 SI-USB 4 SYSTEM – The T29 Slip Ring Hex Drive Rotary Torque Transducer, highlighted in our new products above, accurately measures rotary torque in screwdriving systems and rotating machinery. It has a very short axial length and high torsional stiffness, ideal for handling and assembly. Its analog output connects to the SI-USB4 4-Channel USB Interface Module, which converts the measurement data for monitoring, recording, and analysis. The instrumentation has input ranges for mV/V, V, and mA, and can combine them. Input ranges for the linear potentiometer, the PT100 temperature probe, and the quadrature encoder. LW GENERAL PURPOSE LOAD WASHER LOAD CELL AND WTS WIRELESS TELEMETRY SYSTEM – The LW General Purpose Load Washer Load Cell measures tensile or compressive forces within bolted joints, fasteners, and structural assemblies. Available in capacities ranging from 5 to 200k lbf (0.02 to 444.8 N), with a wide selection of OD, ID, and height combinations (as low as 0.25 in or 6.4 mm). Its mV/V output is connected to the WTS-AM-1E Wireless Strain Bridge Transmitter Module, which has a range up to 2,625 ft (800 m) and converts the sensor signal into wireless data. MRT MINIATURE FLANGE STYLE REACTION TORQUE TRANSDUCER AND WTS WIRELESS TELEMETRY SYSTEM – The MRT Miniature Flange Style Reaction Torque Transducer accurately measures both static and dynamic reaction torque in compact setups. It is available in capacities as low as 1.77 in-lb (0.2Nm). The transducer has excellent linearity and repeatability, with low deflection. Its mV/V output interfaces with the WTS-AM-1E Wireless Strain Bridge Transmitter Module, which transmits data wirelessly to the WTS-HK-S Next Generation Wireless Handheld Instrumentation.  The transmitter is simple to configure and comes with free visualization software. NEW! MB MINIATURE BEAM LOAD CELL AND 9825 GENERAL PURPOSE INDICATOR SYSTEM – The popular Interface MB Miniature Beam Load Cell, with capacities ranging from 5 to 250 lbf (22.2 N to 1.11 kN), delivers +/- 0.03% FS performance. The MB measures tension and compression forces, and its mV/V output connects directly to the 9825 General Purpose Indicator, which conditions, displays, and monitors real-time measurements.
