Career Opportunities with Interface
Application Sales Engineer
Will be responsible to sell all of Interface products and services through our sales rep organization or directly to a large number of named and non-named accounts within a geographical territory. Primary responsibility is to sell, cross-sell and up-sell Interface solutions to prospective, existing, and prior customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account support, account strategy, lead advancement/nurturing, opportunity qualification and planning. Develop solution proposals/quotes encompassing all aspects of the application and technical requirements. Role requires a strong ability to attract new customers, retain and grow our existing customer revenue. Provide a world class customer experience positively impacting the quantity of happy and referenceable customers within assigned territory. Minimum 3 years sales experience preferred.
Business Development Representative
Will be responsible to grow the sales of Interface’s current customers. This is a non-technical sales position that requires sales skills, salesmanship, self-discipline, and the drive to win. This position requires the ability to conceptualize, convey and sell company products and services to our existing customers. This is a domestic position requiring the demonstrated ability to collaborate with the entire Interface organization. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and MSOffice, and 2+ years business development experience required.
The Calibration Technician performs a variety of activities involved in the comparison of measurement devices of unknown accuracy to a measurement device of known accuracy in order to detect, correlate, and report any variations in the accuracy of the device being compared. Maintains a high degree of quality, meets quantity targets while following standards and procedures. Must work individually and as part of a team as required in order to achieve production, quality and quantity goals. Performing repetitive work is essential.
Reports to: Business Unit Manager
Our Machinists are a very important part of the manufacturing process as all the parts we build start in our dedicated Machine Shop. We are always looking for qualified Machinists.
Reports to: Machine Center Supervisor
Designs and specifies transducer products as assigned. Provides product and customer support for miniature products. Knows the customers who use transducer products and their requirements. Provides support to manufacturing for these products. Leads projects for product development and process improvement as assigned. Serves as a technical resource for welding, EDM, FEA, and stress analysis. Manages the preparation of engineering documentation for assigned products. Determines that customized product is technically and economically feasible. Must have a BS in Engineering, and a minimum of 5 years direct experience in applies mechanical engineering.
Electrical Engineer III
Electrical Engineer III position requires superior understanding of analog and digital theory, a full understanding of software code development and the development of electronic measurement instrumentation. This position requires excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Well-developed communication skills for interaction with sales, engineering, manufacturing and customers are a must. The position will manage the activities of other engineers in the electronics group and will act as a mentor to other company personnel.
Reports to: Engineering Manager
Responsible for providing engineering technical support to production. Emphasis is on supporting initial design prototypes and engineer-directed modifications with continued support throughout production process as needed. Carries major responsibility for input on manufacturability of product and development and implementation of new processes as required. Development and implementation of automated/robotic processes wherever possible. Must work effectively with Engineering, QA, Production and Operations personnel. Must have BS/BA in Manufacturing Engineering, and a minimum of 3 years direct experience in manufacturing operations, processes, procedures, and supervision.
National Sales Director
Provide leadership and strategic direction to the Domestic Regional Sales team. This will be accomplished by understanding & maximizing the productivity and effectiveness of outside sale efforts. Engineering, Technical or Business degree preferred, and Enterprise size account management experience and 5+ years of proven sales leadership required.
Process Engineer-Strain Gage / Flexible Circuits Manufacturing (5+ Years Exp)
Responsible for the process design, operation, and implementation. The successful candidate will be able to improve industrial processes to maintain efficiency, reduce cost, improve sustainability, and maximize profitability. Lead cross-functional team in process design and upgrade, equipment selection, performance improvement and cost reduction. Explore new manufacturing methods and strain gage technologies. Become resident expert on strain gage properties, processes, and manufacturing. Having 5+ years of experience with strain gage and/or flexible circuits manufacturing is required.
Quality Engineer / Metrologist
The Quality Engineer position is responsible for providing a high level of organizational support for the quality management system, regulatory requirements and compliance, and system and process improvements. This position is the calibration department metrology and statistics SME. Leads root cause and corrective actions across multiple functions. Mentors other quality team members and supports other Interface functions as required. Investigates and recommends continuous improvement actions. Requires minimal supervision with mostly independent work.

Regional Sales Manager
Grow the company revenue in line with established targets and timelines. This will be accomplished by understanding & maximizing the productivity and effectiveness of the sales team. This role also includes leading and measuring vital performance statistics of your sales area of responsibility and initiating improvement. Enterprise size account management experience and 5-10 years of proven sales leadership required.
Senior Design Engineer (Torque Transducers)
The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing torque sensor products to support all markets such as aerospace, medical, automotive and industrial test & measurement. Primary responsibilities are to (1) develop sensor/strain gage designs and support product manufacturing processes for same, (2) create and improve products using SolidWorks 3D, (3) perform engineering FEA (stress/strain) analyses, and (4) take responsibility for the mechanical and electrical specifications.
Reports to: Engineering Manager
