Interface sensors are utilized around the world by all types of industries for test and measurement applications. As we were first to bring a LowProfile Load Cell to market over 50 years ago, our load cells evolved from use testing in labs to being embedded into products to collect real-time data through wireless communications from sensors that are unseen to the end-user.

Interface’s robust line of load cells, torque transducers, multi-axis sensors, and instrumentation are used for continuous improvement programs, advancements in smart manufacturing and new product designs globally. If it must be measured anywhere in the world, Interface has a solution.

What is impacting the greatest international growth for all types of sensors technologies?  According to market analysis and based on Interface’s experience, it’s being fed by:

  • Miniaturization of Products and Sensors Used in Testing and OEMs
  • Industrial Automation and Robotics
  • Innovation in Aerospace and Automotive
  • IoT – Internet of Things

Interface force measurement solutions are used to gather data from machines, components, equipment, consumer products by metrologists, engineers, and testing experts for all these types of use cases. Read more about the global trends for Interface solutions here.

SINGLE AND MULTI-SENSOR WEIGHT TRANSMITTERS AND INDICATORS

If you aren’t familiar with Interface’s extensive line of weight transmitters and indicators, then this easy-to-use reference helps to navigate through Interface’s popular INF single and multi-sensor instrumentation products.

The INF line supports several output and communication protocols including analog, ethernet IP, Modbus TCP, Profibus, and Profinet. RS485 is available as method of serial transmission. In this case, the INF products can communicate via Modbus-RTU protocol, ASCII Bidirectional protocol, or Continuous Weight Transmission protocol through the RS485 serial connection.

The Interface INF1 Single Sensor Weight Transmitters and Indicators have six-digit red LED displays and are compact designs to save space. The indicators have four buttons for system configuration and six indicator LED. There are two logic inputs and three relay outputs. Every product has a complete feature list along with the entire specifications on the product pages below.

  • INF1-Analog Single Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
  • INF1-Ethernet IP Single Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
  • INF1-Ethernet TCP IP Single Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
  • INF1-Modbus TCP Single Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
  • INF1-Profibus Single Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
  • INF1-Profinet IO Single Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
  • INF1-RS485 Weight Single Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator

Interface INF4 Two, Three, and Four Sensor Weight Transmitters and Indicators have six-digit LED displays and a compact design. The INF4 instrument provides a single summed output from 2, 3 or 4 channels. Visit the feature list and specifications on the following product pages:

  • INF4-Analog Two, Three, and Four Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
  • INF4-Ethernet IP Two, Three, and Four Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
  • INF4-Ethernet TCP IP Two, Three, and Four Sensor Weight Transmitter and Indicator
