NEW INTERFACE PRODUCT RELEASES
3AFM SERIES 3-AXIS FORCE/TORQUE MULTI-AXIS LOAD CELLS
The 3AFM Series 3-Axis Force/Torque Load Cells offer two multi-axis sensor models for quality assurance and material testing inspection tasks. Due to their compact and low-profile design, these precision force sensors feature four independently wired strain gage-measuring springs. The strain gage signals enable the calculation of axial force (Fz) and bending moments (Mx and My) around the x- and y-axes.
The multi-axis sensor’s design allows for the determination of horizontal forces (Fx and Fy) and bending moments based on the distance of the force transmission from the sensor surface. A simple calibration matrix ensures the easy processing of sensor signals, allowing for accurate conversion into forces and moments.

IDMD DIN RAIL MOUNT SIGNAL CONDITIONER
The IDMD Signal Conditioner accepts input from one to four load cells, strain gauges, bridge-type sensors, or pressure transducers. It filters, amplifies, and converts the resulting millivolt signal into the selected DC voltage or current output that is linearly related to the input. The full 3-way (input, output, power) isolation makes this module useful for ground loop elimination, standard mode signal rejection, or noise pickup reduction. Input, output, excitation, and zero offset are field configurable via external rotary and slide switches. Offsets up to ±100% of span can be used to cancel sensor offsets or non-zero dead weights (taring).
Primary IDMD Signal Conditioner features and benefits:
- Drive up to Four 350 Ω Bridges
- Adjustable Excitation Power Supply
- Sense Lead Compensation
- One Minute Setup for Hundreds of I/O Ranges
- Removable Plugs for Faster Installation
- Non-Interactive Zero and Span
