NEW INTERFACE PRODUCT RELEASES

5AR SERIES 3-AXIS FORCE/TORQUE MULTI-AXIS LOAD CELLS

The 5AR Series 3-Axis Force/Torque Load Cells offer two multi-axis sensor models for quality assurance and material testing inspection tasks. Due to their compact and low-profile design, these precision force sensors feature four independently wired strain gage-measuring springs. The strain gage signals enable the calculation of axial force (Fz) and bending moments (Mx and My) around the x- and y-axes.

The multi-axis sensor’s design allows for the determination of horizontal forces (Fx and Fy) and bending moments based on the distance of the force transmission from the sensor surface. A simple calibration matrix ensures the easy processing of sensor signals, allowing for accurate conversion into forces and moments.

5AR70 – Primary 5AR70 3-Axis Force/Torque Load Cell features and benefits:

  • Measures Fx, My, Mz
  • Rated Capacity (FS) ±2,±10, ±20, ±50 N (±0.44, ±2.24, ±4.49, ±11.24 lbf)
  • Nonlinearity – %FS ±0.1
  • Rated Output (Nominal) – mV/V 0.5
  • Safe Overload – %CAP 150
  • Ultimate Overload – %RO 300
  • Input and Output Resistance, x, y, & z axis – Ω 350
  • Low 12 Height
  • 70 mm Diameter

9845 RUGGED CALIBRATION GRADE MULTI-CHANNEL LOAD CELL INDICATOR

Interface’s 9845 Rugged Calibration Grade Multi-Channel Load Cell Indicator is ideal for calibration labs, field service, and any application where precision matters. Designed for durability with a shock-absorbent rubberized case, it supports 1 or 2 channels and features a bipolar 6-digit, two-line display, 24-bit resolution, and ±999,999 display counts. With advanced filtering, scalable outputs, and A2LA ISO 17025 internal mV/V calibration, the 9845 delivers high accuracy and field-ready performance in a compact, rugged package.

Primary 9845 Rugged Calibration Grade Multi-Channel Load Cell Indicator features and benefits:

  • Auto setup for multiple load cells
  • Shock-absorbent rubberized case
  • Display units’ conversion: Lb, Kg, N, Psi, Mpa, Klb, kN, t, mV/V, lbf-in, oz-in, Nm
  • Remote-sense excitation
  • 5- and 6-point linearization and Nonlinearity < ±0.005%
  • ±10 VDC scalable analog output – 16 bit
  • Full duplex RS232C communication
  • Eight selectable digital filters
  • TEDS Plug & Play Ready IEEE 1451.4 compliant

IF500 LOAD CELL SIMULATOR

The IF500 Load Cell Simulator is a 5V or 10V excitation-only load cell simulator with a state-of-the-art microprocessor-based design. The instrument excitation supply powers it and requires no batteries. Compatible with instruments using 5V or 10V excitation. Compatibility with any instrument with 5V or 10V excitation, including but not limited to Interface Instrumentation models 9820, 9840, 9860, 9870, 9890, CSC/CSD, DMA/DMA2, DCA, INF1/INF4, ISG, SGA, and VSC.

Primary IF500 Load Cell Simulator features and benefits:

  • Set “ANY” mV/V value within ±5mV/V
  • Sleep mode eliminates digital clock noise
  • Buffered Ratiometric output
  • 350-ohm bridge configuration
  • Stores up to 10 settings with sequential recall
  • Digital zero trim and storage
  • Low noise, low quiescent current, low temperature coefficient, high stability amplifiers

BSC1A STRAIN GAGE AMPLIFIER

Interface’s BSC1A Strain Gage Amplifier is a digital data acquisition instrument ideal for use near the sensor because its aluminum housing, which has an IP66 rating, is very compact. It detects static and dynamic signals from sensors with strain gages. During a voltage interruption, the automatic zero adjustment stores settings permanently in the nonvolatile memory. Three models are available.

Primary BSC1A Strain Gage Amplifier features and benefits:

  • 1-channel strain gage amplifier in aluminum housing
  • Connection 8-pin screw terminal RM 3.81mm
  • Dimensions 58mm x 64mm x 35mm
  • Analog output -10V – +10V
  • Cutoff frequency 250Hz
  • Input sensitivity 3.5, 1.75, 0.875, 0.35 mV/V
  • Supply voltage 11 – 28 VDC
  • Compact and lightweight
  • IP66 Rating
