The BSC6A-HD44 6-Channel Strain Gage Amplifier  is an analog amplifier with 6 independently configurable channels for sensors with strain gages, such as multi-axis sensors, load cells, and torque sensors. Due to its compact dimensions and the Sub-D44HD socket, the amplifier is ideal for connecting 6-Axis Force/Torque sensors and for mounting in the immediate vicinity of the sensor on a 3-axis robot. The output signals are connected to the SubD15 socket on the rear. Power can be provided via the 4-pin M8 connector or via the Sub-D15 socket. There are also two digital inputs for zeroing all output signals and for shunt calibration. The zero settings are permanently saved in non-volatile memory and retained even after the voltage is interrupted. This amplifier is suitable for connecting bridge sensors from 120 Ohm to 5000 Ohm or full-bridge strain gages. The connection is made using either 4 or 6 wire technology. The BSC6A-HD44 amplifier is supplied with an 18 V power supply and cables suitable for the Sub-D sockets. The BSC6A-HD44 is operated and set using 4 push buttons. The current status of the individual channels is shown by 14 LEDs. Locking is possible.

Amplifier gain is adjustable in fixed steps only. There are no pots for fine adjustment.
Input ranges of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 mV/V are selectable.
Example: For a load cell with 1.2 mV/V Full Scale Output the +/-2.0 mV/V input range will be selected. This results in an amplifier output of +/-6V over the load cell’s full scale range.
