The Most Critical Factors in Load Cell Quality

One thing is for certain at Interface, quality matters most! It is why our customers depend on us, and what is expected when you are building essential products that help to launch rockets, fly planes, navigate waters, extract energy, use a surgical instrument with precision, and so much more. Ken Vining, Chief Engineer, and head of quality at Interface outlined the most important considerations when evaluating load cell quality.

#1 Repeatability

#2 Longevity

#3 Accuracy

#4 Sensitivity to Off-Axis Loads

#5 Access to Prominent Force Measurement Experts

Quality is why Interface products are utilized across numerous, highly regulated, and multifaceted industries for providing the most reliable and accurate data results. When consistency and performance matter, it starts with quality. Read more here. Download our whitepaper, Contributing Factors of Load Cell Accuracy, by clicking here.

Removing Sensitivity and Disruptions with ConvexBT Load Button Load Cell Design

Interface designed the ConvexBT™ Load Button Load Cell to confine misaligned loads to the primary axis of the cell providing superior performance in comparison to similar products on the market. The results are better repeatability, superior data, and reproducible results. The entire design of new ConvexBT centers around vital factors in load cell performance, including advancements in managing sensitivity to off-axis load and temperature conditions. The ConvexBT ultra-precision product line of load buttons takes the sensing technology out of the cable and designed it directly into the load button. Watch this new video to learn more. Check out ConvexBT capacities and specs here.

EXTRA, EXTRA!

Please welcome Hill and Company, who bring more than 85 years of experience and expertise working with OEMs and other customers in the HVAC, computer, agriculture, defense, aircraft, and electronic equipment industries to help solve technology-related challenges for Interface customers. They now provide sales support for Interface across Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Southern Illinois.
