Shaft Style Rotary Torque Transducer and 4 Channel USB Interface Module System with Couplings

Interface’s A T2 Ultra‑Precision Shaft‑Style Rotary Torque Transducer measures dynamic torque with high accuracy and optional speed/angle sensing. It connects via a Floating‑Mount Single‑Flex Coupling to ensure torsional stiffness and eliminate misalignment. The SI‑USB4 Interface Module then digitizes the analog signals at 16‑bit resolution for high‑speed data capture on a PC.

Model T2 is a high-precision, shaft-style sensor. The contactless design features 0.1% combined error, high-level ±5V or ±10V analog output and 16-bit resolution. A remotely activated, internal shunt calibration resistor provides a known 5V calibration signal. Speed and angle can be measured with the optional encoder.

SI-USB4 4 Channel USB Interface Module

4 Channel PC Interface Module

The interface module SI-USB4 is connected between sensor and PC. In this way, analog sensor signals will be digitized with up to 16 bit resolution. By the measuring rate of 5000 measurements/s per measuring channel, high-dynamic measurements can be achieved. The measured values are transferred to a PC via the USB interface and visualized by means of software. If a control signal is integrated in the sensor, an automatic adjustment can be carried out and checked at any time (measuring chain monitoring).
