Cutting the Cord With Wireless Load Pins, Tension Links, and Load Shackles

Wireless is growing in popularity for all types of force measurement products, and this also applies to load pins, tension links, and load shackles. Each of these specialized product groups has proven wireless telemetry versions that eliminate the need for cumbersome cables. This is extremely important for use in harsh environments.

Interface Load Shackles are a robust construction designed for lifting and weighing in rugged or harsh environments. Our load shackles are simple to install and operate. They are environmentally sealed to IP67 and are available in ratings from 1 ton to 400 tons. The Interface Tension Links are manufactured from high tensile aluminum and stainless steel designed for lifting and weighing applications. They are compact, lightweight, and are highly accurate. Interface Load Pins are designed for the measurement of tensile and compressive forces for application uses.

NEW! Interface wireless load shackles, tension links, and load pins are available in a wide range of capacities and styles, including:

  • WTSSHK-B Wireless Crosby™ Bow Load Shackle
  • WTSLP Wireless Stainless-Steel Load Pin
  • WTSTL Wireless Tension Link Load Cell
  • WTSSHK-B-HL Wireless Bow Load Shackle
  • WTSSHK-B-JR Wireless Crosby™ Bow Load Shackle
  • WTSSHK-D Wireless Crosby™ Load Shackle
  • WTSLTL Lightweight Wireless Tension Link
  • WTS-BS-1-HA Digital Handheld Display

Watch the new video here discussing the benefits and features of our WTS products: the WTSSHK Load Shackle and our WTSTL Wireless Tension Link Load Cell.

Interface offers custom solutions to accommodate higher requirements for load shackles and load pins used by manufacturers building this sensor technology into their product designs to maintain constant weight output data used for safety, reliability, and optimal performance of equipment.

Regularly Scheduled Calibration Services From Interface

Interface load cell experts recommend that your equipment goes through regularly scheduled services. How frequent is regular? With normal use, Interface recommends an annual calibration service check-up, or at least every two years, for a thorough evaluation of performance and recalibration. Frequency is also dependent on excessive use or with safety protocols and quality requirements. Our products are built-to-last, and regular service check-ups ensure your performance is maintained for the life of the load cell. If you need to schedule your load cell calibration, it is very easy to do so online. Visit here to schedule

Interface Mini™ Load Cells Test Accuracy and Performance in Miniaturized Hardware Components

Reducing the size and weight of products and components, while increasing the power of complex technology systems, affects all industries that use sensors and force measurement in design and production.

Interface Mini™ Load Cells are designed specifically for light touch and weight with high accuracy and robust performance. They are often utilized for OEM products and smaller testing applications in confined spaces. Our miniature load cells provide exceedingly accurate measurements, like our full-size load cells utilizing our proprietary alloy strain gages. Capacities are available as low as 0.11 lbf / 0.5 N and as high as 100 kN. Read more here.

Applications of Force Measurement Products Used in the Construction Industry

Protecting equipment is important to every industry. In the construction industry, it is as equally important, but the safety of people is the utmost priority. Construction companies and machinery manufacturers are protecting people in the industry, along with their material investments with the use of force sensor technologies. Interface’s precision load cells, torque transducers, load pins, tension links, and load shackles, as well as data acquisition instrumentation, are commonly used by equipment manufacturers, as well as by project engineers. Click here to learn about specific construction industry use cases, read about this industry, and find insights from Dan McAneny.
