Fatigue Rated S-Type Load Cell System

The SSMF Fatigue-Rated S-Type Load Cell accurately measures tension and compression forces in high-cycle fatigue testing applications. Its mV/V output connects to the DMA2 DIN Rail Mount Signal Conditioner, which amplifies and converts the signal into a stable analog output that connects directly to the customer’s PLC, DAQ, or control system for reliable, real-time force monitoring.

Model SSMF is a moderately priced fatigue rated sealed load cell for test machine and other general purpose applications. This product is available in capacities ranging from 25 to 2.5K lbf (100 N to 10 kN).

DMA2 DIN Rail Mount Signal Conditioner

DIN Rail Mount

Model DMA2 is a DIN rail mountable signal conditioner with user selectable outputs of ±10V, ±5V or 4-20 mA. This product is 10-28VDC powered suitable for battery or automotive use. Model DMA2 also features 1000 Hz bandwidth and push-button shunt calibration.

Note: The DMA2 can provide both VDC and 4-20mA outputs simultaneously. However, ground loop issues may occur because they both use a common ground. This will be mitigated if the DAQ is a differential input. Maximum drive and source current of the VDC output is +/-10 mA.

System Level Calibration

Interface strongly recommends requesting a system-level calibration when purchasing a force measurement sensor with instrumentation. This final step ensures the sensor and instrumentation are properly calibrated and functioning together before leaving Interface.
