A space company wants to measure the center of gravity of their rocket in order to test its stability, control, performance, and safety objectives.
Interface Solution
Interface suggests using four 1200 Standard Precision LowProfile™ Load Cells, and installing it into the test frame. Once the rocket is placed, the 1280 Programmable Weight Indicator and Controller gathers the center of gravity with a customized program.
Results
Interface’s LowProfile™ load cells and paired instrumentation successfully measured the center of gravity of the rocket.

How it Works

Four 1200 LowProfile Load Cells are installed into the corners of the center of gravity testing frame.
The rocket is placed on the frame, and the 1280 Programmable Weight Indicator and Controller gathers the center of gravity results with a customized program for this application.
