Pedestal Mount Double Flex Couplings are designed for fixed torque transducer installations where high torsional stiffness and accurate torque transmission are required while allowing for minor misalignment between shafts. The transducer side of the coupling uses a shrink disk hub, providing a secure, backlash-free connection to smooth shafts without the need for keys. On the customer side, three hub configurations are available to accommodate different mounting requirements. The shrink disk hub version is intended for smooth shaft connections where precise concentric clamping is needed, the keyed hub version provides a traditional keyed interface for positive mechanical engagement, and the clamping ring hub version uses a split clamping design for easy installation and strong holding force without keyways. These configuration options make the Pedestal Mount Double Flex Couplings suitable for a wide range of fixed torque sensor applications requiring reliable, repeatable performance.
