Load Button Load Cell System

The LBM Compression Load Button Load Cell accurately measures compressive force in space-constrained applications and connects to the SGA AC/DC Powered Signal Conditioner, which amplifies and converts the load cell’s mV/V signal into an industry-standard analog output. The conditioned analog signal then connects directly to the customer’s PLC, DAQ, controller, or other monitoring system for reliable, real-time force measurement and process control.

SGA AC/DC Powered Signal Conditioner

AC/DC Powered Signal Conditioner

Model SGA is a versatile signal conditioner featuring user selectable outputs of ±10V, ±5V, 0-10V, 0-5V, 0-20mA and 4-20ma. This product is DC or AC powered with switch selectable filters from 1 to 5kHz and is packaged in a sealed ABS enclosure. This product supports shunt calibration and a wide range of gain settings.

System Level Calibration

Interface strongly recommends requesting a system-level calibration when purchasing a force measurement sensor with instrumentation. This final step ensures the sensor and instrumentation are properly calibrated and functioning together before leaving Interface.
