WTSATL Lightweight Aluminum Wireless Tension Load Link

Lightweight Wireless Tension Load Link

11K lbf to 661K lbf
5 mt to 300 mt

The WTSATL series have been designed for lifting and weighing in rugged or harsh environments. Being manufactured from high tensile aluminum to minimize weight also makes them ideal for mobile use (brushed steel holes provide added wear protection from shackles and other applications).
The wireless antenna is internally mounted, protecting it from accidental damage during use and handling. The WTSATL range also uses standard AAA alkaline batteries, which are readily available and low cost. They are Simple to install and have a high safety factor (5:1) to provide safe and accurate measurements during critical lifting operations.
The WTSATL is supplied as standard without any additional wireless devices to enable greater flexibility with the configuration and ordering of the product. The WTSATL can be used with any of the WTS range of wireless instrumentation, whether this be for a simple display system using the WTS-BS-1-HS wireless portable display, or more complex systems using multiple load cells and multiple wireless devices.
For more sophisticated systems, including data-logging or monitoring/reporting requirements, we are able to offer a robust tablet PC with installed software for use with single or multiple load cell installations. Our sales team will be happy to discuss the best wireless system configuration to suit your requirements.

WTS-HK-S Next-Generation Wireless Handheld

Portable, Digital, Hand Held, Battery Powered, Display

The WTS-HK-S is a next-generation wireless handheld that combines the most popular features of the WTS-BS-1, WTS-BS-1-HS, and WTS-BS-1-HA into a single, versatile device. A single unit can be configured as needed, reducing inventory requirements and engineering setup time. Out of the box, it operates in roaming mode, automatically detecting and displaying data from up to twelve nearby WTS transmitters at ranges up to 800 m (2,600 ft). For more advanced applications, users can define up to twelve specific inputs with custom settings such as calibrated units and overload alerts. Configuration can be completed directly from the handheld menu, while full setup, saving, and loading of configurations can be performed using the free WTS Toolkit software. Menu items can be locked or hidden with PIN and password protection to prevent accidental changes, and the display can be customized to suit specific operational needs. Firmware updates via the toolkit allow access to new features, including mathematical functions for calculations such as sums, differences, and load determination based on sling angles. The license-free 2.4 GHz DSSS radio provides reliable, interference-resistant communication with FCC, ETSI, and IC approvals.

System Level Calibration

Interface strongly recommends requesting a system-level calibration when purchasing a force measurement sensor with instrumentation. This final step ensures the sensor and instrumentation are properly calibrated and functioning together before leaving Interface.
