Interface Caris Codes Guide

Interface Caris Codes are also known as option codes. They are used to identify the product model, capacity, connector type, and other available options for every product we manufacture. The codes are sequenced into our Interface sensor model numbers found on Interface product labels. Whether you are looking at a product model on our website or on a sensor you already have in hand, this guide allows you to crack the Caris Codes and know the exact product capabilities.

The next 1 to 5 characters (1010ACK-1K-B) are:

The “-XX-” indicates the load cells capacity
- “-100-” would indicate a capacity of 100 lbf (pound-force)
- “-100K-” would indicate a capacity of 100,000 lbf (pound-force)
- “-100N-” would indicate a capacity of 100 N (Newton)
- “-100KN-” would indicate a capacity of 100 kN (Kilonewton)

The last letter “B” (1010ACK-1K-B) is:

If a “-B” exists at the end of the model number this indicates there is a base mounted to the load cell
