The ITCA series load cell is ideal for measuring both tensile and compressive forces. The standard metric threads at each end of the load cell are designed to accept standard spherical seating rod-end bearings.
There is great flexibility in the ITCA design, allowing us to offer special sizes to meet specific application requirements, or different end thread sizes and combinations. There are versions available with male threads at each end, or male threads at one end and female at the other. We are also happy to supply any of the ITCA series with imperial thread sizes.
The ITCA series can be supplied as shown in this datasheet or can be modified to meet a particular application requirement. We are always pleased to discuss any special requirements that can be accommodated.

The DIG-USB product is a compact, high-precision Strain Gage Converter; converting a strain gage sensor input to a digital output and is connected to a PC via a USB port. This product allows high precision measurements to be made and communicated directly to a PC and is aimed at applications which require high-accuracy measurement repeatability. With the appropriate drivers installed, the DIG-USB appears as a virtual serial port to the PC.
Simply by plugging the device into a PC, data can be extracted from most strain gage bridge input sensors and acquired by software which allows data manipulation removing the need for amplifiers, filters and multi-meters.

The DIG-USB Toolkit is a simple configuration tool designed specifically for configuring DIG-USB modules. This toolkit allows configuration, calibration, logging and parameter management of the modules.
Installing DIG-USB (DSCUSB) Toolkit Install the DIG-USB (DSCUSB) Toolkit software by downloading it from the Software and Drivers page at www.interfaceforce.com. This should start the ‘AutoRun’ process, unless this is disabled on your computer. The installation software pre-installs the required drivers so that they can be automatically found when the hardware is plugged in later on.
Interface strongly recommends requesting a system-level calibration when purchasing a force measurement sensor with instrumentation. This final step ensures the sensor and instrumentation are properly calibrated and functioning together before leaving Interface.
