Interface 3-axis load cells measure mutually perpendicular axes X, Y and Z for both tension and compression. The Interface 6-axis load cells measure force X, Y, and Z simultaneously in three mutually perpendicular axes and three simultaneous torques.
Interface also offers single sensor axial torsion load cells and a variety of 2-axis load cell sensors to measure two directions, X and Y, simultaneously. Dual-axis is frequently used in design and testing. To learn more, read our Multi-Axis Sensors Overview.
Most of our customers turn to Interface for calibration of load cells. Did you know we calibrate dynamometers and crane scales with capacities of 100,000 pounds of force or more? Interface does not use hybrid systems for calibrations. We use direct force application and NIST traceable force standards with customized fixture assemblies for each type of equipment.
