Interface tests every LowProfile™ load sensor for accuracy and temperature specifications, and moment compensates each unit to minimize sensitivity to extraneous loads. Using eight proprietary strain gages per sensor, our 4mV/V output well exceeds the goals for other load cell performance.
Interface provides material test machine manufacturers with a variety of load cells from our Ultra Low Capacity (ULC) Series, the most accurate gram load cell in the world, to the SMT family of load cells with 10x overload protection. The Interface SMT is utilized by most major manufacturers of test machines because of its unequaled accuracy and robust design. S-Type cells (SM load cell and SSM load cell) were invented by Interface in 1974 and have become the most widely used load cells in the world.
The fatigue rated 1000 Series and 1500 Series load cells are designed for 100,000,000 fully reversed cycles and are available in capacities from 25 lbf to 1,000,000 lbf. The 1200 series Low Profile™ by Interface is the static load cell of choice for more test machine companies than any other manufacturer’s load cell and is available in capacities from 300 lbf to 2,000,000 lbf. Interface also offers a broad range of torque transducers and axial torque transducers for material testing applications.
