Customer Service Representative

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated Customer Service Representative to join our sales team in Scottsdale.

Job Description

  • Daily interaction with customers and our sales organization
  • Daily entry of sales orders with emphasis on accuracy and completeness
  • Regular distribution of sales leads to our Representative network
  • Regular distribution of sales activity reports
  • Regular distribution of marketing literature
  • Occasional phone support with price and delivery requests, order confirmation, tracking and delivery
  • Starting wage is $13-$16 per hour (depending on experience)

Background & Requirements

  • Strong winning attitude with a focus on results
  • Customer service experience and technical degree preferred (not required)
  • Technical aptitude a plus
  • Excellent communication skills

Torque Transducer Senior Project Engineer

Interface, Inc., a manufacturer of high accuracy force and torque transducers for the aerospace and medical industries, has a need for a talented engineer to design strain gage based transducers and systems for precision physical measurements.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of engineering mechanics, especially statics and strength of materials.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 3D CAD.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Proficient in stress analysis.
  • Proficient in Finite Element Analysis.
  • Hands-on. Comfortable in the laboratory and on the production floor as well as at the design desk.
  • 10 years minimum experience in design of torque transducers and load cells.
  • Knowledge of strain gage materials, properties, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of engineering materials and joining technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Wheatstone bridge temperature compensation techniques.
  • Familiarity with force, torque, and electronic metrology principles.
  • Familiarity with CNC machining processes.
  • Familiarity with transducer analog and digital instrumentation.
  • Education: BSME minimum, MSME preferred

Design Engineer

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Experience in the design of torque transducers.
  • Control documentation and engineering drawing release. Write specifications and test procedures.
  • Perform basic stress analysis.
  • Use computer software including CAD, FEA, spreadsheets, and word processors in design work and problem solving.
  • Manage development projects.
  • Responsible for schedules, functionality, and meeting product specifications.
  • Build and test prototypes.
  • Communicate with customers on technical issues.
  • Interface regularly with design support, quality, manufacturing, calibration, and sales personnel.
  • Contribute to corporate goals of reducing cycle time and lowering costs.

Applications Engineer
